What we do
PlumbLinker operates a single nationwide phone line for plumbing emergencies. When you call (888) 876-3092, we identify your location and connect you with an independent licensed plumbing company in our network that has availability for your job.
That's the whole service. We are a routing layer between homeowners with an urgent problem and plumbers with capacity.
Why we exist
At 5pm on a weekday, finding a plumber is easy. At 2am on a holiday weekend with water coming through a ceiling, it isn't. Search results are a mix of directories, closed businesses, and answering services, and homeowners end up dialing numbers one after another while the damage compounds.
Plumbers have the reverse problem: after-hours capacity that sits idle because the people who need it can't find them.
What we are not
PlumbLinker holds no plumbing license. We employ no plumbers. We do not perform, supervise, price, warrant, or guarantee any plumbing work. Every plumber reached through our line is an independent business, solely responsible for their licensing, insurance, pricing, and workmanship.
We're also not a review platform. We don't rank plumbers by quality, we don't host consumer reviews, and we don't claim to have surveyed the market in your area. Companies in our network are ones we've contracted with — that's a different thing from being the best available, and we'd rather say so than imply otherwise.
How we make money
Plumbing companies pay us for referred calls. Homeowners pay nothing. We take no percentage of your repair bill and have no financial interest in its size.
What we ask of plumbers in the network
- Confirmation that they hold the plumbing license required in each state where they take our calls
- Confirmation of current general liability insurance
- Willingness to provide written estimates before work begins
- Responsiveness — companies that repeatedly fail to arrive get removed
We collect these confirmations at onboarding and review them periodically. We do not re-verify every credential before every individual job — no referral service does, whatever they claim. You should still ask for the license number and check it yourself. It takes two minutes and it's the single most useful thing you can do.
Service area
Our network covers metro areas across all 50 states. Coverage density varies considerably — strongest in and around major metros, thinner in rural areas and during regional weather events when every plumber in a region is already working. If we can't reach someone near you, we'll tell you on the call rather than take your details and leave you waiting.
