Terms of Service
By calling our line or using this website, you agree to these terms. Please read the section on our role carefully — it's the one that matters most.
1. What PlumbLinker is
PlumbLinker operates a referral and call-routing service. We connect people with plumbing problems to independent, third-party plumbing companies.
We are not licensed plumbers. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, price, warrant, or guarantee any plumbing work. We are not a party to any agreement between you and a plumbing company, and we do not act as your agent or theirs.
2. Your relationship with the plumber
Any contract for plumbing work is solely between you and the plumbing company. That company is exclusively responsible for:
- Holding and maintaining all required licenses and insurance
- The pricing they quote and charge you
- The quality, timeliness, and safety of their work
- Any warranty or guarantee they offer
- Compliance with permitting and building code requirements
- Any damage caused during the course of their work
You are responsible for verifying a plumbing company's credentials and agreeing terms with them before authorizing work. We strongly recommend confirming the license number with your state licensing board and obtaining a written estimate.
3. No guarantee of availability or outcome
We make no guarantee that a plumber will be available in your area at any given time, that any plumber will arrive within a particular timeframe, or that any particular outcome will result. Availability varies by location, time, and demand, and may be zero during regional weather events.
4. Cost
Our referral service is free to you. We do not charge homeowners. Plumbing companies pay us for referred calls. All charges for plumbing work are set and billed by the plumbing company. Any cost figures published on this website are general industry estimates for information only — they are not quotes, not offers, and not binding on us or on any plumbing company.
5. Information on this website
Guidance published here is general information, not professional advice for your specific situation. Plumbing work carries risk of property damage and personal injury. Gas work carries risk of fire, explosion, and carbon monoxide poisoning. If you are not certain you can perform something safely, do not attempt it. In any situation involving a suspected gas leak, leave the building and call 911 or your gas utility before doing anything else.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use our phone line or website to make false or fraudulent service requests, harass our staff or network companies, scrape or copy site content at scale, or interfere with the operation of the service.
7. Intellectual property
The content, design, and trademarks on this website are owned by PlumbLinker or its licensors. You may not reproduce substantial portions without written permission.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The service and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PlumbLinker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any property damage, personal injury, cost, or loss arising from work performed by a plumbing company, from any delay or failure in availability, or from reliance on information published on this website.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify PlumbLinker against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
11. Disputes
Disputes about plumbing work should be raised with the plumbing company. If unresolved, your state contractors licensing board or consumer protection office can assist. Disputes with PlumbLinker about these terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which PlumbLinker is organized, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
